Propulsion System

White Metal Bearing
TEKMA can offer casting of white metal and can help you with
- Centrifugal casting of white metal liners, stern tube bearings
- Manual casting of journal bearing
- Manual casting of thrust bearings
All casting is exposed to ultrasonic testing to ensure proper binding between white metal and base material.
Synthetic Bearings
The rubber lined bearings are specially designed for water lubricated stern tubes and rudder stocks. The rubber water lubricated bearing material gives the bearing a high resistance to abrasion and wear whilst providing effective noise and vibration insulation.
Synthetic Marine bearings can be manufactured the same day upon your request and we can supply a full range of finished – machined products quickly and economically.
Synthetic Marine bearings are approved by all major marine classification including:
Lloyds, DNV, ABS, GL, BV and NKK. Copies of the classification approvals will be given to you together with the order.
